Clifford and Monica Hill

Clifford and Monica’s international ministry under the umbrella of C & M Ministries takes them to many parts of the world with Cliff speaking on the outworking of the purposes of God and Monica on church growth issues.

Clifford and Monica jointly formed and presently lead the Centre for Contemporary Ministry bringing together their prophetic and the evangelistic/church growth ministries. The Centre's prime objective lies in Christian education - particularly offering in-service training courses for clergy to help them cope with the changing pastoral scene. This ministry was based initially at Bawtry Hall in Yorkshire before moving to Moggerhanger in 1996.

In 1990 the Centre, together with the British Church Growth Association and Prophetic Word Ministries, formed Harvest Vision which acquired Moggerhanger House in Bedfordshire for £1.00. It is now Grade One listed and has been restored at a cost in excess of £7 million. The house was built by Sir John Soane for the Thornton family who were related to William Wilberforce and linked with the Clapham Sect.

The Centre for Contemporary Ministry is now the lead residential ministry at Moggerhanger Park which formed Clapham Connections, Transform-uk The Christian Workplace Forum and The Thornton Institute for Leadership and Business Ethics. It runs Courses and Conferences and has an extensive programme of teaching and evangelistic meetings in many parts of Britain. Together with other ministries at Moggerhanger it was involved in the 2007 celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade.
