CAMPAIGN ISSUES

The eighteenth century Clapham Sect were involved in more than seventy campaign issues for the reform of society. In today's more complex society there are at least that number and more - many of them being backed and promoted by disparate groups.

Pick up some of the issues of today and relate them to the issues of change that are needed at this time:

These reports provide the empirical evidence for campaigns undertaken by Clapham Connections with the object of drawing public attention to major social issues and seeking ways in which these issues can be tackled either through social action or legislation.
