Public Tours
 
Tours for 2008 will commence on Saturday 14th June, and will run each day through to September 12th.

Tours start at 12 noon and 2.30pm each day except Sunday (2.30pm only); tickets are available from the desk in the exhibition, which is where the tours will start from. Ticket prices remain unchanged from 2007, £6 for adults and £5 concessions. There is no need to pre-book, just turn up on the day!

Bookings are now being taken for Group Tours in 2008.

Our range of different packages are listed below and available for parties of 15 or more people, please contact the office for availability during summer 2008.

1. Tour and Lunch:
a) 11.30am tour followed by a buffet lunch - £14 / person
· A 'Chef's Choice' buffet consisting of mixed salads, jacket wedges and selected speciality items; followed by tea or coffee.

b) 11.30am tour followed by a 2-course meal - £20 / person
· Choice of main courses and desserts from our function menu, plus tea or coffee.

2. Afternoon Tour and Tea:
c) 3pm tour followed by afternoon tea - £9 / person
· Home-made scone served with butter and jam plus tea or coffee.

3. Evening Tour Packages
d) 7pm tour followed by 3-course meal - £25 / person
· Choice of starters, main courses and desserts from our function menu.

e) 7pm tour followed by buffet meal - £18 / person
· Chef's choice buffet consisting of mixed salads, jacket potato wedges and selected speciality items; followed by tea or coffee.

f) 7pm tour followed by tea / coffee / cake - £12 / person
· Home made cake plus tea or coffee

4. Combined Tour Package
g) 11.30am tour of the house, buffet lunch, 2pm tour of the grounds - £18 / person
· A 'Chef's Choice' buffet consisting of mixed salads, jacket potato wedges and selected speciality items; followed by a tea or coffee.

The minimum number for a group tour is 15 people; larger groups can be accommodated. Parties of 10 - 14 people can reserve places on one of the public tours and book one of our group catering packages (please ask for further details of these packages). Special dietary needs can be accommodated. Wine or drinks from the bar can be ordered on the day. All prices inclusive of VAT. A wider menu selection is available on request.
